How can a team that had so much possession, not score a goal?
Its really sad and frustrating as a fan watching them play.
We played really well, just always lacked that finishing ability, this is now going to open up all the arguments and cries of we need a striker again!!!
Football is like anything a percentage of skill and luck and the right management decisions.
Today I question a couple of those decisions.
Why was Nani replaced with Eagles?
Why was Tevez up front on his own most of the match?
What the fuck is wrong with Ryan Giggs? He just doesn’t seem himself right now.
Nani did really well for only his third premiership game, he had a couple of chances but missed them, just lack of experience yet but it will come.
Tevez was out bullied many many times by Richards (definitely man of the match) and Dunne, as for not heading the ball into the net, watch the replays and you will see why he didnt, he couldnt see the ball until the last second.
Hargreaves first full game and personally I thought he did fucking excellent.
We are definitely missing Rooney and Ronaldo, he’s the fighter all defences fear and Ronaldo the trickster keeping them guessing.
We can come up with 100’s of reasons, excuses call it what you like, just wasn’t our day at the council house again, not the first time we have lost there or probably the last, bad karma at city always has been.
No I am not very happy about the result but this is the team I have been following all my life and I certainly aint gonna stop now, good times or bad, United are still the best for me.
Time to take stock and pick ourselves up again and be ready for the next match.
Its a long long season yet and you cant keep a team like United down for long, write them off at your peril.
